– Wednesday, Oct. 19, I’ll be speaking to the Great Falls (Montana) Ad Club about book-publishing. Lunch starts at noon in the Panorama Room of the Great Falls International Airport. The cost is $15. Five dollars of the proceeds from all book sales will go to the Great Falls Animal Foundation.
Hi, Carol. I just finished your book. I, too, have some experience with puppy mills. In August of 2008 I was the Shelter manager at our local shelter. We received a call from another county, much smaller than us and where many Amish people live. The Chief Warden and i went down and helped her save 55 small breed dogs. The smell is something that never leaves you. Of course, the Amish never even got prosecuted. He told me I was going to Hell for stealing his livestock. I have also saved many puppy mill mamas thru our English Bulldog Rescue. They are the most loving and loyal animals of all and are truly thankful to their new families. Thank you for your book.
Dear Carol,
I just purchased your book and sat and read it all in one sitting. Thank you for the wonderful and sometimes overwhelmingly sad insight of how animals are treated.
If we can take months to go through and adoption process why can’t we do the same for these creatures god put on earth that only know unconditional love to the humans that take care of them. Please never stop feeling when seeing those cattle or any other animal when you pass by they all deserve love.
I am the proud owner of three beautiful labs. Black, yellow, and chocolate that have been with me for 12,9, and 7 years so far and I love them so much, but they love me unconditionaly everyday.
God Bless you and thank you for such a moving book.
Respectfully,
Cindy Cameron
